The time of a year when there is the moment of doing-nothing and enjoying its sacrum quality … the British Royal Family found their way to relax in this northern spot where high-quality meets normality and everything is thanks to local aesthetics and the appreciation of cultural heritage and traditions.

Balmoral Castle  – this is the renaissance place of Scottish holidaying.

This estate house located in Royal Deeside, Aberdeenshire, in the nearest proximity of the village of Crathie has been one of the most appreciated and cherished treasures of the British Royalty since 1852.

Balmoral Castle was being privately acquired by Prince Albert, the husband of Queen Victoria, who participated himself in redesigning the Castle together with an architect William Smith, a local Aberdonian.

Balmoral Castle is not a large estate where one can chase another all day without finding each other, instead, it is a pretty cosy place where the Royal Family can actually have the chance to experience some normality in their daily routines.  Classified by Historic Environment Scotland as a category A listed building, it is the holiday home for The British Royals to enjoy their family time.
