Having sold over 70 million records worldwide and received multiple awards including the Academy Honorary Award “for his magnificent and multifaceted contributions to the art of film music” in 2007, 3 Grammy Awards, 3 Golden Globes, 6 BAFTAs, 10 David di Donatello, 2 European Film Awards, the Golden Lion Honorary Award and the Polar Music Award, Maestro Morricone is the Italian born artist that touches souls and minds global audiences.

“I really like conducting my music in concerts, because I’m convinced it’s not just for films, it has its own life. It can live far away from the images of the movie. Some movies work really well with music from Bach or Mahler that existed long before the film, so music has its own autonomy”

says Morricone

After over 60 years of service Morricone has announced the last ever UK concert in November 2018 at O2 Arena in London, more details {}
